A gift in memory is a lovely way to remember a loved one through a donation dedicated in their name. There are a number of ways that you can support our work by giving charitable contributions in memory of someone who has passed, below are just a few examples of how you may wish to do so. 

Donate directly online in memory of a loved one

You can use our easy and secure online form to make a donation in memory of a loved one. After you have made a donation you will be able to leave a message in memory of them. Make a online donation.

Donations in lieu of flowers at funerals

Lots of families choose to have donations in lieu of flowers at their loved one’s funeral and we are very grateful that you have thought of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice as the charity to receive these gifts. We can provide collection boxes or help you to set up an online funeral collection, for more information go to our funeral collection page.

Light Up A Life and in memory events 

We host a range of events, from fundraising events you can participate in in memory of an individual, to memory days including our annual Light up a Life service where we celebrate the lives of loved ones together.

Tribute Tree 

Dedicate a stunning engraved leaf on our tribute tree as a lasting honour to someone special, or create an online tribute fund page to share with family and friends. For more information go to our Tribute funds page. 

Fundraise in memory 

You may like to set up a heartfelt tribute fund on JustGiving where you can include a picture and treasured memories of your loved one. Contributors can also share messages of support and memories. Some people choose to mark an anniversary and remember someone special by hosting their own fundraiser, Fundraise in memory for more information.
