Bereavement support

Facing the loss of a loved one can at times feel confusing and overwhelming and The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice recognises that for some it is important to be able to talk about about their grief.

We have a highly experienced team who offer one-to-one support providing a safe and confidential space for you to explore your feelings and thoughts both pre and post bereavement. 

Remembrance services take place throughout the year and offer an opportunity to spend time with your family and friends to remember the person who has died, and give thanks for their life.

Children and young people are welcome to attend as it's important that they also feel included in a special time of remembrance.

After the service there is time for tea and coffee and an opportunity to talk with hospice staff and volunteers.

Our remembrance book sits within the sanctuary room and should you wish the life of your loved one to be recorded, speak with a member of the family support team.
