WHAT IS A TRIBUTE FUND?

Often people want to do something positive in memory of their loved one. Finding a lasting way to remember a loved one can be a great comfort. A tribute fund gives you a way to do that, in a way that suits you. Family, friends and colleagues can join together in honour of someone special, whilst raising vital funds for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.

HOW TRIBUTE FUNDS WORK

The fund is named after your loved one, and you and anyone else can contribute in any way that feels right. For example, a family member might recognise a birthday or anniversary by asking for donations instead of gifts, whilst a former colleague may choose to run a marathon and raise sponsorship in their memory.

GROWING YOUR TRIBUTE FUND

Once a tribute Fund has been set up, anyone can support it in any way they choose. There are many ways to grow your tribute fund.

• Dedicate a leaf on the In Memory Tree
• Create an online tribute fund
• Give a donation on a special occasion or a significant date, such as a birthday or anniversary
• Set up a monthly direct debit to The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice
• Invite family and friends to contribute to the fund - they can give a gift to the fund or set up a fundraising page
• Join in with one of our events. Whether you're a keen cyclist, runner or enjoy trekking in the great outdoors, we've got plenty of events to tempt you. You can even link a JustGiving page directly to your Tribute Fund
• Organise your own event to raise money. Money raised from coffee mornings, dances, quizzes, music nights, or parties can all be added to your Tribute page 
• Fundraise at work or ask family to fundraise at their school or college

Do whatever feels right for you and we can help you to add these donations to your Tribute Fund.

Every penny raised for your loved one’s tribute fund comes directly to the hospice, helping us continue our vital work.
