Hairdressing

The Young Adult Service provides a volunteer hairdressing/barber service to young adults their families and carers. 

 Michael who is a volunteer with a wealth of knowledge and skills in the hairdressing/barbering industry, willingly gives his time and support to the Young Adults Service.  

 The hospice has its own salon which is an asset to our young adults because many of them have never had the opportunity to be in a hairdressing environment. Michael has built relationships with the young adults through gaining trust and taking his time to ensure they have a positive experience.
