Music Therapy

What is Music Therapy?

Everyone can respond to music, and Music Therapy uses this connection to improve emotional wellbeing and communication. This is achieved through activities like improvisation, listening to music, or creating songs and playlists together.

Music therapy can boost resilience, self-confidence, independence, self-awareness, concentration, and communication skills

If you think music therapy might be helpful for you, please let a member of the hospice staff know, and they will refer you to the service.

If you have any questions, you can call the family support team on 0141 429 5599 or contact me directly at calum.frame@ppwh.org.uk or 0141 429 9823.
